Weather conditions
If you come to Bragança in winter you should take with you warm clothes. You might need a thick coat, gloves, a hat and a scarf. The average temperature in January is about 6 ºC, but you may find yourself surprised by quite negative temperatures, especially at night. However, Portugal is one of the sunniest countries in the Europe, so you may be agreeably surprised by the warm sunshine and you may even get a tan in March. In April/May it gets hot, so you will need to change your wardrobe for light clothes and sunglasses. If you want to check the weather forecast, go to braganca.tempopt.com
